Copiers

I met kids at their kids' ages and teens at theirs growing stage. Unsurprisingly, most of them are facing problems according to their theme of age whether bad behavior, emotional destruction, problems at school and their studies and the list goes on and on.

I believe these problems are caused by a sole root but it has several small branches of roots. The main root is the parents. I'm not simply said it, there is a good explanation of it.

Some might not agree with me. This is what I'm trying to point out. My opinion is based on what I observed and what I experienced. So, everyone is free to disagree and click X button on top. ;)

House supposedly should be the first madrasah or school of children. From house, parents could teach their kids to recognize the deen/ religion, read, reflect and react upon the deen and its teachings, memorize the Qur'an, inculcate Tawheed or Oneness of God as it is the foundation of everything. It depends on parents. If they teach the kids how to dress like popstars or how to live as a celebrity, then that what their future will be.

Just think, how many times parents normally spend of their quality times with their children? In average? Just look at your family and people around you. If let say they spend 3 hours per day. What do they usually do TOGETHER? Yeah, eating, watching TV. But what together is togetherness, by eating together with silent mode on? By watching TV by the father with grumpy face and mother enjoying her dramas with tears flowing down on cheeks and the children are making noises, distractions, messing up with everything in the house? At the end, kids end up crying as they got pinched by the father. This is just an EXAMPLE. Might be the real story of somebody, right?

The house is like haunted house or even worse than that. Hope you know what I'm saying. Allahu musta'an. :'(

Ok, some would say, 'You know, parents are working during days and they are tired once reach at home they have to handle kids and their couple. Give them some times! Come on~'

Then, I ask you: What is your intention of having kids in the first place? Or perhaps, what did you get married in the first place?

I read a post posted by Ustazah Fatimah Syarha on facebook as she told the story of her 2 years old daughter. Her daughter was praying isha' alone and reciting surah al-baqarah verse 225 smoothly and after the prayer that kid asked her teddy bear why he did not pray together with her. here :D Impressive, subhanAllah! MashaAllah! Her daughter is just 2 years old. Surely, the mother has  crystal clear purposes of raising up her children. She made it and inshaAllah will continue making progress of fulfilling her intentions.

She also mentioned that kids are the best copiers at their young age as they will do whatever their parents do. If the parents often play Quranic recitation and recite ALONG whether in the car whenever they send their children to the school or the mother do the dzikr  or recite memorized verses of Quran while cooking, children are observing and trying to do the same! Trust me! So, let them familiarize and get them excited with overflowed awesomeness of Qur'an. THIS might help. Hopefully inshaAllah. :D

Parents should be able to create the environment in the house which suits spiritual and emotional needs of their children.

Parents should not ignore their kids' voices! Embrace them! Entertain them! Befriend with them! As the Prophet sallallahu'alayhiwassalam has taught.

I'm just annoyed seeing the parents 'ignoring' the children.
Is it a sign of punishment or we are being tested by Allah???

May Allah forgive me and all of our sins. Allahumma ameen..

Sang ironi aku

Aku mendidik aku sebaiknya. Sepatutnya.

Aku tak rasa ini aku yang dahulu. Seolah-olah wajah bayangan berbeda datang bertukar warna. Hampir setiap masa. Aku berdu'a lagi, agar Allah tetapkan aku dalam rawatan segera Dia dan pelihara aku sentiasa. Iman aku. Taqwa aku. Tapi kadang-kala hati terlalu rapuh, serapuh kayu hutan yang reput dipijak sepatu. Nak berdu'a pun seakan berkira-kira. Astaghfirullah.

..............
".....not necessary that you need to be in Jama'ah. The point is wherever you go and be around with, you could practice the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu'alayhiwassalam, that's enough..."

Jawapan jelas Ustadz Ibrahim Nuh berlegar berkali-kali.

Day of deciding

Every moment we have opportunity to make a decision to please Allah, our God
-do or not
-either rewarded or punished
-no matter what ever we are doing & wherever

We need to live consciously, thoughtfully
-how I can please Allah
-consciously before we decide
-dont rush deciding
-even the smallest things

-Uncle aka Sheykh Yawar Baig

As good friend restated:
"Every day we need to do istikharah cuz every day is a day of making decision"

Staying steadfast after Ramadhan

I know, I know still in Sha'baan. Yet, we can start putting the aim before shooting right. Knowing what should be doing and what should be done right before, during and after Ramadhan. Just get the Ramadhan kit prepared!

This is the lesson or would say the reminder by Sheykh Alaa on staying steadfast after the special month of the year! Yeah~ as the reminder for those who are forgetful..me!

You learn something about yourself during Ramadhan. If you CAN leave halal things, that is NOT impossible to leave haram things.

*your eyes are like camera lenses
*your ears and mouth are MP3
*your mind is a modem
*your heart is a hardrive

everything you SEE, HEAR and SAY are downloaded and will be uploaded in the Judgment Day! Will you be proud of your DVD or will you hide it?

Are you worshiping ar-Rahman or Syaitan?

Are you Abu Bakr in public or Abu Jahl in private?

********
Here provided Ramadhan kit as Lesson to those who fast. Alhamdulillah

Connecting the right chords

-don't scold kids or give them order instead
give them an option to choose,
plus, it helps them making decisions by their own-

"Son, would you like to feel as sunny as this bright shirt
or you would be better in green?"

After flipping this book and having it read few shots at the bookstore without buying it YET,
I feel so heart-breaking seeing people scolding
their kids. SubhanAllah!

May Allah guide us to be the righteous parents
to our kids (soon inshaAllah) and

righteous brother and sister
to our siblings and

righteous son and daughter
to our parents. Ameen~

May Allah make us the coolness of the eyes
to others and others as the coolness of our eyes..
Ameen~

A love letter

A Love letter from A Muslim Man to the Girl He loves

“if you love me, don’t confess your love to me, this won’t please me and will keep me away! love words don’t attract me.

If you love me, wait for me and I will knock on your door in the right time. Don’t give me privileges which I don’t deserve. Keep me away from you, and I will approach you.

If you approach me, I will stay away from you.
Don’t love me, for I want you ignorant in love.
I want to teach you love when the right time come and you will be my Halal, only when we are joined together under our Creator’s satisfaction.

Don’t tell me what you feel, don’t give me from your time, don’t push me to lose you. I am a man who won’t accept to see the one he loves committing sins or to live a forbidden love behind the back of her family. I don’t want her to feel guilty and don’t want her heart to suffer.

Put limits to me that I won’t cross, kill me inside you so I won’t grow to kill you.

Preserve what is beautiful inside you.
I want you innocent, chaste, pure. I want you dear, not easy.
And then, Only then, I will face everything and will be ready to go through difficulties to get you

How could I be a faithful man to you when I try to break your chastity?
How would I be faithful to you if I push you to betray your family?
How could I trust a love which grew under Allah’s wrath ?

To love you means to protect you, to preserve you not to kill what is beautiful in you.

Don’t be easy because then, I may not value you.

Don’t love me now, so I won’t hate you!
My heart wants you and doesn’t want to lose you.

I don’t want you to be just a passing fancy to me,
I want you a wife, a lover, the mother of my children,
I want you to be the one I will spend my whole life with”

*A post to remind me and you*
From my beloved sister in Deen

Aaaaaaa

"Aaaaaaa, I am sleepy man"
"Hey, stop yawning, see now yawning virus is on me. Aaaaaa"
"Huh? Hahahaha. It spreads very fast..lol"
My question, which hand did the Prophet sallallahu'alayhiwassalam use to cover his mouth when yawning?? O_o

Ok, think over the question and just leave it hang there for a while. Let's talk about our Zeroes. Shaitoon.

Sheykh Bary Yahya has explained explicitly and it was very profound to know more about this arrogant-die-hard kinda enemy. Shaitoon. He reminded us to always start doing something by saying Basmallah or Bismillah because it will be a partition between you and Shaitoon. Say bismillah before entering to the toilet and they will not see you. Temporarily blind. Bi'iznillah.

You know, they try their best to steal and decrease our rewards. Just look at ourselves before performing the prayer. Once we say 'Allahu akbar', the whisper begins and everything is messed up. You know what I'm saying. o_O

So back to the sheykh again, he reminded us the power of Sunnah which will be a fortress from the evilness and trick of shaitoon. How? Increase the Sunnah, make the Sunnah alive. Anything that stops us from doing good is Shaitoon. Whenever you feel hard, burdensome or whatever to do good, just do it! Kill them all. Oh choop..Let them cry like crazy since we can't kill them physically apparently.

Now, back to the question. But before answering that question, another question is, 'Did the Prophet sallallahu'alayhiwassalam yawn?'
O_o

Aaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

The Prophet sallallahu'alayhiwassalam never yawn. Even other Prophets because yawning is from Shaitoon. Yeah from Shaitoon, the ones that we have talk-talked above. Sheykh explained that everyone has Shaitoon in them including the Prophet sallallahu'alayhiwassalam but his, was converted to Islam. Allahu a'lam.

Try our best not to yawn. Hold it back as hardest as possible. Yeah! Aaaaaaaa....Are you about to yawn when you see the picture? or you did yawn. Hahaha..

You know what, when someone yawns, you will be yawning too because it gives Shaitoon idea to make you yawning. So, don't yawn! It is from Shaitoon..

Allahu a'lam...peace!
-dont yawn.

I follow you, you follow me. Ok?

Last Zeroes session in IIUM was led by Ustadz Abdullah Hakeem from Australia. He was talking about those false prophets during the time of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu'alayhiwassalam. There was very profound reminder when he mentioned on tribalism or nationalism. Those false prophets were Musailamah al-Kazzab and his wife Sujjah, al-Aswad al-Ansi and others and they had greater number of followers. Those followers knew that these people are liars but yet they still insisted to follow them astray. Why? Because of tribalism! SubhanAllah!!!

I am a born Muslim, alhamdulillah which is the BEST GIFT from Allah because I don't need to find it but rather it is given to me. I would say, maybe, maybe because we are given this gift since the birth and we believe on whatever we do and follow whether from our parents or great-great grand parents are all correct! Sometimes, we follow something which is wrong even though we know that thing is wrong. SubhanAllah. "I do this, because my parents do it. I do that because my grandpa told me to do so."

That is why we need to always ask ourselves, why, why, why! Ya'ni angelic why not the satanic ones.-_-" Why do we have to cover our 'awrah? Why do I have to pray? Why I need to do this and that..and the list goes on and on.. and get the answers from shuyukh or knowledgeable people or anyone whom we think has God-consciousness. The feeling is different when doing something based on the right knowledge because you would value it much much more for the sake of Allah since you possess the understanding at the first place. Wallahi. Allahu a'lam. Indeed Allah knows the best!

As a believer I have a firm believe that what unite us is only Islam even though we are living in the world with different tribes, races, cultures and whatnot alhamdulillah alhamdulillah But now the only thing I could see is that people are divided because they disconnect themselves from the real teaching of Islam and because of TRIBALISM!!!!  Allahu Allah...:'(

Allah, guide us. Don't let us astray. Allah, unite us in this world and in the Heavens, the Highest Heaven. Allahumma ameen.

Words

I joined a program last time and right after the speaker ended his speech, I stood up to get a better seat then I saw a sister crying on her friend's shoulder. I was wondering what made her crying. Was something happened to her family? Did she just receive bad news or what? I couldn't bear it then I approached them and asked what happened?

Her friend said. "She is touched."

I tried to recall what the speaker had delivered and none words of him would make me cry as she did. Nothing would make me feel touched as she felt. I realize that we think any word we say or share is just nothing, it is just biasa-biasa aje, words that have come across our ears many times. In and out. It stops us from conveying good words even a word. But, in fact Allah knows, perhaps there will be a person who will benefit and feel touched with our biasa-biasa words and he/she might change and become a better person and you, get the ajr (reward) without you realize it. Lumayan!
Allahua'lam..:)

May Allah grant and put wisdom and understanding in our word and action. Ameen.
smile, it is Sunnah...:)

#11 while you are single

Finally, it is very important to keep in mind that marriage is a beautiful sunnah that should be rejoiced and every Muslim should want to experience this blessing. However, if one doesn't get married because he/she didn't meet a compatible spouse or delays for valid reasons, there is no blame on them. And if we die tomorrow single, Allah will not ask us why we weren't married (for this was His decree) but rest assured that He will certainly ask us about our life and how conscious we were of the other half of our deen.

'Our Lord, Grant us in our spouses and offspring the joy of our eyes, and make us leaders for the righteous'-ameen...^^

rayyan...act upon these!

#10 while you are single

We should therefore use our time wisely and strive to better the half of our deen that we actually have control over. Seek knowledge at every opportunity, learn the Qur'an even if it's one verse a day, learn about our rich Islamic history and the great personalities that contributed to it, take up a new hobby, read beneficial books, travel, get involved in charity or dawah work, learn a new language etc. Have a fulfilling life before marriage for marriage is not just about being married, but also about how stimulating and blissful this bond should be. And if you are happy single, you will be happier in marriage. But, if you are miserable single, you will be just as miserable in marriage for another person doesn't hold your happiness in their hands. And the Nikkah (marriage) contract does not come with magic potion!

*-* contemplate over this rayyan!
you have to!
you have to!

#9 while you are single

Despite culture and peer pressures, one shouldn't be afraid or ashamed to be a certain age and single. Imam Ahmad (May Allah Have Mercy on him) married at the age of forty as he wanted to serve his mother in old age and fully commit himself to her. But when he eventually got married, the Imam and his wife lived peacefully with each other. When Umm Salih, his wife, was deceased, he said: ''In the thirty years she was with me, we never had a single word of disagreement.''

#8 while you are single

If Allah has not written for us to marry in our twenties, thirties or forties, that doesn't mean He is punishing us or He isn't able to find us ONE person from the billions on earth. Rather, due to His wisdom and Mercy, He has delayed for us this blessing in order to give us someone that we deserve and deserves us in return, and at a time that is better than we would have chosen.

#7 while you are single

Remember that marriage is a provision from Allah just like other things in your life so remain hopeful. Invoke Allah and privately ask Him from His favors and at time where du'as are more like to be accepted; the third part of the night, during prostration, on Fridays between 'Asr and Maghrib or the last hour of the day. Don't just say 'O Allah, bless me with a wife/husband' but be specific by asking Allah to bless you with someone that He is FIRSTLY pleased with and that will become coolness of your eyes. You don't know who will be khayr (good) for you so don't limit yourself to trivial requirements such as asking Allah for a spouse with a particular height, status, race, nationality or lineage. These should not be deciding factors when choosing a companion for the dunya and akhirah.
